According to the Austrian Maß- und Eichgesetz (MEG), electric power meters, tariff devices, and charging equipment for electric vehicles that is used or ready for use in official or commercial transactions are subject to mandatory verification (Eichpflicht). Measurement devices newly placed on the market either bear an Austrian verification mark or are covered by the European Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) and have such a certificate.

In addition to electrical energy, quantities such as length, mass, or flow rates are also subject to verification requirements in Austria. Verification is required wherever quantities relevant for billing are measured.

Authorization
Officially authorized and supervised verification body since 1996, operating according to the highest quality and testing standards.

Charging Equipment
Verification of AC and DC charging systems for e-mobility – precise, legally compliant, and tested on-site.
Extension of the Verification Period
Extension of the Verification Period by 5 years – including testing, administrative handling, and support with deadline management.
