For measuring instruments that have demonstrated their reliability during inspection, the verification period may be extended by 5 years in accordance with the Ordinance on the Extension of Reverification Periods (BGBl. II No. 62/1999). Such an extension must be applied for at the Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying and is granted, where applicable, by official decision.

Our laboratory performs the required inspections directly with the operator of the respective electricity meters and reports in due time to the Federal Office. Devices forming a test batch (Prüflos) must have identical characteristics. These batches must not be modified or selectively composed.
